About

Michelle Parascandolo is a freelance surface pattern design from New York City. While getting her BFA in Textile/Surface Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Michelle's love for pattern design, flowers, and color blossomed. Her work is heavily inspired by nature, and she expresses her appreciation for the world around her by primarily focusing on florals as her subject matter.

Michelle is also the author of the book From Petal to Pattern which is a guide to creating floral patterns, and is the teacher of the Domestika course, Fundamentals of Pattern Design.
